Assemblée générale 2026 du STMRA

The Mediterranean Rhône-Alpes Freight Forwarders Association (STMRA) held its General Assembly on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Sofitel, in the presence of its members and partners.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Delphine CHOUIN was re-elected as President of STMRA for a two-year term.

She will be supported by an executive committee composed of:
- Xavier LASSALE – Vice President
- Céline NIOX – Vice President
- Marie LANÇON – Advisor to the President
- Jean BEAULIEU – Secretary General
- Patricia BARDET – Treasurer
- Denis LIOTTA – Digital Lead
- Yann BALAGNY – Air Freight Lead
- Stéphane DALIA – Customs & Phytosanitary/Veterinary Lead
- Sylvain CHIRAT – Maritime and AURA Regional Lead

This edition provided an opportunity to review a particularly intense year for professionals in freight forwarding, transport, and logistics, in a context marked by significant regulatory, customs, and operational changes.

STMRA extends its thanks to all institutional and professional partners in attendance for their valuable exchanges and their continued support of the freight forwarding and registered customs representative professions.

On September 6th, the Executive Board elected Delphine Chouin president of the STM for a two-year mandate.

Following two years of co-presidency alongside Stéphane Salvetat, Delphine Chouin aspires to sustain on-going actions – notably in relation to the MeRS (Méditerranée-Rhône-Saône) axis, to work on the promotion and unity of the port area of Marseille-Fos, and to build a roadmap with the working committees’ presidents (Customs, Digital, Aerial, Phytosanitary/Veterinary…) and the whole of the Executive Board.

She will be accompanied by an office composed of:
➡ 5 Vice-presidents: Céline NIOX, Xavier LASSALLE, Yann BALAGNY, Denis LIOTTA, Philippe HADDAD
➡ 1 Treasurer: Patricia BARDET
➡ 1 Secretary: Jean BEAULIEU

STM becomes Syndicate of Mediterranean Rhône Alpes Freight Forwarders

For several years, the STM had started discussions with Lyon freight forwarders, under the aegis of TLF Overseas, to extend its scope of representation.
This approach has taken on its full meaning with the work of the Interport and Logistics Coordination Council (CCIL) of the Mediterranean Rhône Saône axis (MeRS).

Gathered in an extraordinary general meeting on July 5, STM members adopted a new name for the union, which becomes the “Syndicat des Transitaires Méditerranée Rhône Alpes (STM)”.
This new entity will integrate freight forwarders from the Auvergne Rhône Alpes and Burgundy regions, as well as freight forwarders from the Mediterranean coast of the Occitanie region.

This extraordinary general meeting was also an opportunity for STM members to warmly thank Stéphane Boumendil for his remarkable work serving STM for seven years.

⚓ ✈ 🚚 STM held its annual general meeting on Friday April 5 at the Château de la Pioline in Aix-en-Provence.

🙏 STM thanks in particular the speakers who honored us with their visit.
Jean-Luc Chauvin, president of the Aix Marseille Provence CCI, recalled the major role of the port of Marseille-Fos and the companies linked to the port in the economy of the metropolis and more broadly of the region. He indicated the significant number of industries which planned to settle in the territory, in particular in the ZIP, creating several thousand jobs.
Joël Glusman, president of TLF Overseas, attended an STM general assembly for the first time; accompanied by François Daniel, general delegate of TLFO, they took stock of national issues, in connection with local STM issues.

🔜 Among the many subjects discussed, the STM expressed its wish to get closer to Lyon freight forwarders, in conjunction with TLF Auvergne Rhône Alpes, as part of the future major river-sea port Marseille Lyon.
✔ Delphine CHOUIN and Stéphane Salvetat were re-elected as co-presidents of the STM, for a two-year term.
